Crane is proud to be hosting STPI Gallery in a series of workshops celebrating the art of print!
In December, learn the basics of relief printing in this class, where participants will sketch their own design, carve it on a linoleum plate, and make striking, one-of-a-kind t-shirt.
What is Relief Printing?
Relief Printing is a printing process where the impression or design is created by the uncarved areas of the printing element, which has been inked with a roller, brayer, or other tools. It’s one of the simplest ways to get creative and produce a beautiful piece of art, without requiring complicated equipment or artistic training.
Recommended for ages 12 and above. Various dates in December available, sessions at 3pm and 7pm at Crane Robertson Quay.
STPI - Creative Workshop & Gallery, Singapore is a creative workshop and contemporary art gallery based in Singapore that specialises in artistic experimentation in the medium of print and paper. To date, STPI has collaborated with over 90 artists from all over the world.
